Just received some very kind words from Michelle, one of our fabulous brides from last September:

“Kim is incredible, works within all budgets and takes your special day as seriously as I imagine she took her own. She was a pleasure to work with and a fountain of wedding planning knowledge. Do yourself a favor: Hire her.”

Thank you so much, Michelle!  We loved working with you!

Recently, many of the members of the Hitched! Wedding Team met at the Burntwood Tavern in Cuyahoga Falls, OH.  Some of us were meeting each other for the first time, as well as our winning couple, Samantha and Ben.  It was a great day!  Sandham Films has put together a video of our occasion.  Enjoy!

Aren’t Megan and Dan just the cutest couple?  I had the pleasure of working with Megan and Dan over the last year to plan their New Orleans themed wedding in Cleveland.  The ceremony was held at Holy Family Catholic Church in Parma, and the reception was held at The House of Blues in Downtown Cleveland.  These wonderful images were captured by Dan and Connie Swain of Visions Photography by Swain.

Stay tuned for more details and photos from this fabulous wedding.  Enjoy!

My husband Mark and I have not had pictures done of just the two of us in a very long time.  So when the opportunity presented itself, in the form of a new program from my friend Ashley Ward, of Geneva Mae Photography, I knew I had to jump on it.  This is her new “In Love and Just Because” program, and I’m so happy we did this!  We had a great time tonight with Ashley, taking pictures and just laughing and having fun in Massillon.  This image is just our sneak peek, and I can’t wait to see the rest.  Thank you Ashley!!

You can see more of Ashley’s work at www.genevamaephotography.com, or on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/GenevaMaePhotography

The practice of bartering, is an age-old tradition, where two parties exchange services or goods, in equal values.  I am happy to report that this tradition has not died out completely.  One of my brides, Michelle, whose wedding is coming up in a few weeks, has bartered with many of her wedding vendors for services.  She in return is providing them with different services, such as a personalized journal story, or writing for business materials or social media.

I was given permission, to link her latest blog post, which features myself, and fellow local wedding planner Meredith Masaveg of Rain Wedding Planning.  Please feel free to read her other entries about our fellow vendors, and her unique details for her special day.  I am looking forward to working with Meredith, to make Michelle’s wedding fabulous!  Enjoy!
