Ok, friends and colleagues, I am going to go out on a limb here: A project I have had in mind for a long time is to hold a dress drive for local girls in need of a gown and accessories for prom. This is not a new concept, but I would like to be able to help at least some girls in our area that might not have the opportunity to do so otherwise. So I am asking for donations of gowns, shawls, shoes, jewelry, handbags, and other accessories that are in good clean condition, please. I would like to have a distribution date in April, since most school proms are in May. If anyone would like to help, or has any questions, please feel free to message me. Thank you!

Aren’t Megan and Dan just the cutest couple? I had the pleasure of working with Megan and Dan over the last year to plan their New Orleans themed wedding in Cleveland. The ceremony was held at Holy Family Catholic Church in Parma, and the reception was held at The House of Blues in Downtown Cleveland. These wonderful images were captured by Dan and Connie Swain of Visions Photography by Swain.
Stay tuned for more details and photos from this fabulous wedding. Enjoy!

The practice of bartering, is an age-old tradition, where two parties exchange services or goods, in equal values. I am happy to report that this tradition has not died out completely. One of my brides, Michelle, whose wedding is coming up in a few weeks, has bartered with many of her wedding vendors for services. She in return is providing them with different services, such as a personalized journal story, or writing for business materials or social media.
I was given permission, to link her latest blog post, which features myself, and fellow local wedding planner Meredith Masaveg of Rain Wedding Planning. Please feel free to read her other entries about our fellow vendors, and her unique details for her special day. I am looking forward to working with Meredith, to make Michelle’s wedding fabulous! Enjoy!

I recently wrote a short book review, and I wanted to share it here. Enjoy!
Vintage Wedding Style – Book Review
I recently came across this colorful book, Vintage Wedding Style, by Elizabeth Demos. There is a current trend these days for vintage-inspired parties and weddings. This book covers all the bases! As a lover of all arts and crafts, I was very impressed. There are lots of great ideas in this book, from how to make paper pinwheels to converting an old dusty barn into a place to celebrate. The pictures are detailed and the directions for projects are simple and straightforward. I highly recommend browsing through this book for inspiration. Enjoy!
